Cottage Cheese: The New Superfood

Eberhard’s has been making our award-winning cottage cheese for decades, and it is no surprise to us that this naturally low-fat and protein packed dairy product has been deemed a “new” superfood! Cottage cheese popularity has been on the rise in the past years and at Eberhard’s Dairy we perfected our technique fifty years ago. Hailed in the past for its low caloric values and a side salad mainstay, take one bite of Eberhard’s deliciously creamy cottage cheese and “diet” food will be the farthest thing from your mind. That said, cottage cheese is extremely nutritious, packed with calcium, vitamin B12, riboflavin, and phosphorus. Cottage cheese is also a cultured product which is known for enhancing digestive health. The protein in cottage cheese is primarily casein protein, which is digested more slowly than whey protein and will help you to stay fuller longer. Have a long day ahead? Start your day with cottage cheese and it will keep you fueled!
