Job Description

Eberhard's Dairy is a family-owned business operating in Central Oregon for nearly 70 years. Eberhard's Dairy seeks a qualified Lab Technician to join our team to perform testing on product samples to determine compliance with regulation standards, among other duties.

Job Duties:

Daily Lab Duties Include

• Plating and reading plates.

• Butter fat testing of products.

• Sample collection of finished products.

• Verification of instruments in production.

• Monitoring of incubator and refrigeration temperatures.

• ATP swabbing.

• Clean and sanitize lab equipment.

 

Other Lab Duties

• Environmental monitoring and testing.

• Packaging and sending out product samples.

• Sanitation inspections.

• Review of weekly production forms.

• Customer comment tracking.

• Maintaining stock of forms/logs for production,

• Assist in maintaining current food safety program.

 

Preferred Requirements:

• ​Experience working in food industry/manufacturing.

• Previous experience working in a lab setting.

• College degree.
